Star Wedding Theme

The perfect wedding should be heavenly, and anything less would be dubbed as ordinary. Who would want to have an ordinary wedding, right? Thus, if you want to have a unique theme for your wedding, then you might want to consider having a star wedding theme. The celestial match that you are would have a lot of fun preparing such a wedding.
For a celestial theme wedding, it would be better to set the date on that specific night when the full moon is out. This way, even the night sky would be in accordance with your theme. Of course, there might be a need to hold the ceremony and the reception during the night. But with such a theme, it would be understandable and totally be appreciated by the lot of your families, friends, and guests.
For your wedding invitations, you can use midnight blue paper to resemble the night sky. You can also use black for this, but midnight blue is the more popular choice here. The lettering should be in either gold or silver, and the borders of the letters should be lined with tiny stars for emphasis. Star confetti can also be placed on both the outside and the inside of the envelopes. To go the extra mile, you can include constellation charts with the invitations.
The wedding attire can easily be prepared as well. The bride can wear the traditional wedding gown, as white as it should be. The gown should then be adorned with crystals, to resemble the stars in the night sky. Make sure that these crystals are sown right into the bodice of the gown, to avoid having them fall off during the ceremony and the reception. You can also choose to have a dark wedding gown instead, with the crystals still sown into the gown’s bodice. With a dark gown, the crystals would actually be more prominent in appearance. The groom, on the other hand, should wear a dark tuxedo that comes with star-studded buttons. Star-shaped cufflinks also make great finishing touches to the whole attire.
Candle holders that come in the shape of stars can be placed all over the room to give the room a romantic and celestial ambiance. Star-shaped balloons and centerpieces also make great decorations for a star wedding theme. The sky’s the limit when it comes to decorations for such a theme! Just make sure to go with the ones you and your groom-to-be agree on. Remember that preferences are a must with weddings, so make sure to go with the aspects that the couple would agree on.
